These terms govern your use of Sure Shield's services. Please read them carefully before subscribing.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Sure Shield, Inc. ("Sure Shield," "we," "our," or "us"), a licensed insurance provider incorporated in the State of Texas. By using our website, mobile application, or subscribing to any Sure Shield insurance product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
To subscribe to Sure Shield insurance services, you must:
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information. Providing false or misleading information during the application process may result in policy cancellation, claim denial, and may constitute insurance fraud under applicable law.
Sure Shield currently helps visitors request auto and home insurance options. Life and health insurance are coming soon and may be offered through a waitlist.
Exact premium amounts are determined by underwriting factors including but not limited to: coverage type, ZIP code, claims history, vehicle details, property details, selected limits, deductibles, discounts, and state rules.
A binding insurance contract exists only upon our acceptance of your application, completion of underwriting review, and issuance of a formal policy document. We reserve the right to decline any application at our sole discretion, subject to applicable state regulations prohibiting discriminatory underwriting practices.
Coverage typically begins within 24 hours of policy issuance and payment confirmation. We will send your official policy documents and digital insurance card to your registered email address. Coverage is not in effect until we have confirmed activation in writing.
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month ("Billing Date") using the payment method on file. By subscribing, you authorize Sure Shield to charge your selected payment method on each Billing Date for the applicable premium amount plus any taxes and fees.
Annual subscribers are charged the full annual premium on their subscription date and on each annual anniversary thereafter. Annual billing provides a discount of up to 17% compared to monthly billing. Annual premiums are non-refundable after the 30-day satisfaction guarantee period, except as required by applicable law.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process the charge again within 3 business days. A 7-day grace period applies from the original Billing Date. If payment is not received within the grace period, your policy will be suspended. Coverage during a suspension period may be limited. Policies suspended for more than 30 days without payment resolution may be cancelled.
We reserve the right to adjust your premium at renewal, subject to approval by the applicable state insurance department. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any premium increase. Your continued subscription after notice constitutes acceptance of the adjusted rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees through your online account dashboard or by contacting customer support. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not provide partial-month refunds for monthly subscribers unless required by state law.
We may cancel or non-renew your policy for the following reasons, subject to applicable state notice requirements:
We will provide written notice of cancellation in accordance with your state's requirements (typically 10-30 days prior notice).
New subscribers may cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund of premiums paid, provided no claims have been filed or are pending. This guarantee applies once per customer.
You must report any incident that may result in a claim as soon as reasonably possible by calling our 24/7 claims line or filing through your online dashboard. Failure to report an incident promptly may affect your claim eligibility.
When filing a claim, you must provide complete and accurate information including incident details, photos of damage, police reports (where applicable), and contact information for all involved parties. Providing false information in connection with a claim constitutes fraud and will result in claim denial and policy cancellation.
All claims are subject to investigation and review under the terms of your specific policy. Our 98% claims approval rate reflects our commitment to fair claims handling. Denied claims may be appealed through our internal review process, and customers retain the right to pursue external dispute resolution as provided by state insurance regulations.
You represent and warrant that:

For disputes not resolved informally and not subject to insurance regulatory jurisdiction, the parties agree to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Dallas County, Texas, or via telephonic/virtual proceedings. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions, except as required by the insurance regulations of your state of residence, which shall govern the insurance contract itself.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
